Thanks to all the lads who were able to make it to Galway for the stag- Jonny, Seamus, David, Bruce, Joseph, Christopher, Graham, Jonathan, Eoghan, Colum, Ronan, Dermot, Kealan, Sean, Damian, Brian.
'Twas a great weekend's craic altogether, and fair dues to the organisational skills of Jonny and Seamus and their wonderful spreadsheets.
The crew arrived by the car load at different stages over the weekend, and those there early on Saturday partook in some quality codology in canoes out in the ocean in Conemara.
It was on the way to change out of his wet suit that the stag realised that the lads had taken custody of all his belongings, and presented him with his clothes for the evening... a full on Elvis outfit, complete with big hair wig, even bigger sideburns and a splendid pair of shades.
The stag looked resplendent!
Galway town was shocked and amazed to find the King alive and well and frequenting some of the city's wonderful night clubs!

Special mention for Carmel's other half Paddy who could hardly contain his excitement when he heard the news of our engagement.
It only recently transpired that the real reason for Paddy's excitement was because he realised that it will be the first time in his 24 years that he will attend the full day of a wedding... although Carmel reckoned he was being more than a little optimistic expecting to still be on the scene by the time the wedding came round. |
